EUHAP is a collaborative community of humanitarian stakeholders representing academia, training providers, employers and employees. The project is primarily concerned with strengthening the professionalisation of the delivery of humanitarian aid, through exchange of best and innovative practices as well as improvement of the quality and efficiency of the education, and exploring the linkages between competencies, occupations and qualifications. Some of the project's deliverables include: Map of Humanitarian Job Profiles, Toolkit on Recognition of Prior Learning in the Humanitarian Sector, European Map of Humanitarian Action, set of Humanitarian Learning Activities in the form of Open Educational Resources.
The project was funded by the European Commission Erasmus+ Programme and ran between 2014 and 2017. It was a continuation of the EUPRHA (European Universities on Professionalization on Humanitarian Action) initiative.
